In this session, start-ups will gain a deeper understanding of the concept of impact and why it’s crucial for businesses to play a proactive role. They will delve into the differences between sustainable business practices and being an impact-driven company, examining the Theory of Change and mapping stakeholders. They will also learn about business models that prioritize creating a positive impact. Additionally, we will explore the investor’s perspective on impact-driven ventures. In this interactive workshop, Start-ups will be guided through various exercises, including co-creating a flourishing business canvas including stakeholder mapping, and setting commitment towards some selected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

How can a start-up best formalize, express, and propagate its corporate culture based on the core beliefs and ambitions of its founders? How can such purpose-driven organizations translate them into meaningful communication that will inspire their audiences, and translate it into key leadership principles that will inspire teams to act as one? This masterclass will be about defining and aligning corporate culture, vision, mission, and value proposition to inspire audiences. You will be able to understand the differentiation between inspiration and motivation, how to create insightful and inspiring leadership talks that align with corporate culture, by exploring tribal leadership’s connection to the formulation of key elements of companies’ culture. What will be the key takeaways ? This session will be about fundraising for early-stage startups, with a focus on Venture Capital (What is Venture Capital, who is it for, who is it not for) The objective is to cover how a VC fundraising process looks like, what to prepare to launch a fundraising campaign, what do VCs look for (criteria but also what potential red flags). We will also in this session go through how a round is structured, by looking closer at examples of VC funds, their categorisation, finishing by a brief presentation of Satgana and some of its investments.
